N111 gathering for Catan & Mahjong!

On Thursday (20th Aug), N111 went to Riverwalk for a zone cell group/prayer meeting. Quite a number stayed all the way until the end of the overnight prayer meeting. It lasted until 1.55am (timing according to Ruicheng =P). Last Sat, prior to the prayer meeting, there was a discussion on a gathering on Friday since there is no cell group meeting and at least 3 ladies got mahjong itch. So we planned a gathering on Friday late afternoon.

Splitting into 2 groups - 6 Settlers of Catan players and 4 mahjong players, we started into the night with our games. I was one of the 5 catan players. The "new comers" were Jeryn, Ben and Helen. Clay had his initiation during the Ipoh Trip. Well, while Ruicheng and I were fighting it out with each other for territory, Jeryn expanded hers quickly and won the game with the longest road! Her colour was white.

On the other side of the "table", the 4 mahjong ladies battled it out. Originally we were to have Sarah and Jin Jin join us. They wanted to learn how to play mahjong. Too bad they could not make it. Anyway, to make things exciting, they played with chips (not exchangeable for money) so that they could determine who was the winner.

I forgot how many rounds the mahjong ladies played, but they really enjoyed themselves. By the time everyone was done, it was midnight. Tired, we called it a day. It was really an enjoyable gathering. =)
